Truthfully I've missed it... and well every day when I sit at my computer..posted right in front of my face is my 2013 Resolutions list which clearly states "Write, Write, Write"...
I will pick up writing again, I mean it's a part of who I am really. I've been writing since the dawn of time and well I don't intend to stop anytime soon.
You see this 'Resolutions' list also has a lot of other wonderful things on it.. things I've been spending my time trying to accomplish.
I've been training for my upcoming half-marathon which is only a month away. It's got me a little freaked out... I mean it's starting to hit me that this race is right around the corner. I was doing really well up until two weeks ago when I came down with that evil flu that's going around... it had me out for a week! I've been trying to pick it back up but my last two runs were terrible. I'm running again Thursday and Friday and will attempt to do my scheduled 15km run on Sunday... it will come.
Another think on my list is to quit smoking. I'm happy to report that I have done this. Every day I want a cigarette. I guess that's the addiction part. It's been a month and a half and I must report that I'm feeling some of the benefits of being a non-smoker. The other day I was sitting beside someone at an event and the whole time said person was wheezing..and I thought.. "Thank God I'm a non-smoker".. amen.
I have been writing, just not blogging. I've been working on that 'book'... another thing that's on my list.
I've been working diligently on my Family Tree. It's a goal of mine to tie up the loose ends this year and publish it for my family.
| Some of my real family in Ireland.. my Dad is on the end next to my Great Grandmother |
And I'm working on a special 'me' project too. It's a bit of a secret, but let's just say it's my "Leap of Faith" and well.. it's nothing short of exciting. I'll be sure to talk about it when I can.. I've been working on it for the last few weeks.. and so far...so good.
So... don't count me out as your blogging buddy quite yet... I'm here.. just busy... and not a bad busy... a good busy!
See you on the flip side xox
