I think we should all have a bucket list, and I see when deciding this would be my next blog, that many of us already do have one. I've had one in my head for a long time... that "What to do before I die" list, but "Bucket List" sounds so much nicer.
For some reason I never wanted to commit my Bucket list to paper. Part of the reason for this stems from the fact that I've seen so many leave before their time, their Bucket List's unfinished and sad....BUT I think committing this to paper will hold be accountable, and so here it is... I will add to this list, but here are 25 things to start:
-1- Become a published writer
-2- Speak at TED Talks - That would be awesome.
-3- Visit Ireland - Find family - Explore old towns and cemeteries.
-4- Visit Scotland - Explore old towns and cemeteries.
-5- Visit England & Wales - Explore old towns and cemeteries.
-6- Write a novel some day.
-7- Spend a week in New York City eating, and shopping.
-8- Get more in tune with my spiritual and metaphysical self.
-9- Go on a road trip with my hubby...and maybe visit the Grand Canyon.
-10- Go to Australia, spend time in the outback.
-11- Spend $5000 on a shopping spree just for me.
-12- Bake a great cake and ice it using fondant.
-13- Buy a cottage/vacation home.
-14- Live near the ocean.
-15- Spend the night in a Castle (better if haunted).
-16- Visit cemeteries and small towns across Upper Canada.
-17- Find a career that puts a spring in my step and passion in my heart.
-18- Go on a 'real' girls holiday.
-19- Write a legacy book of the women in our family for my daughter.
-20- Learn to sew.
-21- Decorate at least one room in my home making it all about me.
-22- Teach my kids how to fry an egg on an upside down coffee can.
-23- Learn to enjoy nature more.
-24- Learn to let go.
-25- Learn to love myself just the way I am.
And now that it's on paper, it's become an expectation ...
